PREPPING FOR TRAVELS + PUMPING
Hello!
I just recently left Faye for the first time and I really thought through my steps to make this transition work for our family.
I will be doing a series of posts:
1. Prep before my travels 2. Pumping during my time away 3. Bringing my milk back
I discovered all my rights with pumping + my milk.
It made EVERYTHING so much easier because of the research I did for TSA, hotel stay, and keeping my supply.
POST 1 // PREPPING

I planned for this. So, every single morning, I would make sure to pump 3-5 ounces to freeze. Faye feeds on demand, so this was really important for me to do. I didn't know how much she would need while I was gone, so my goal was to get to 130 ounces.
MILK STORK (I rate this 100 stars!!!!)
I really didn't want to pump and dump. I found Milk Stork!
It allows you to maintain your commitment to breastfeed as you pursue your career and chase your dreams.
YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS WITH MILK STORK.
Pump + Ship (34 oz or 72 oz) Pump + Tote (34 oz or 72 oz)
I chose the pump + tote.
HOTEL
I had my Milk Stork SHIPPED to my hotel in AZ. (You can do this ahead of time) I made sure that my hotel would have a mini fridge for my pumped milk. (Hotels are required to provide you with a fridge if your room doesn't come with one).
